Love &Hip Hop: Atlanta "Death Becomes Him"

Death is a constant reminder of one’s mortality. Life is short, take risks, shoot your shot. Kirk shot his shot after his mom’s funeral. What better time to ask Rasheeda for one more chance. After apologizing for the upteenth time, he reminded Rasheeda the importance of being on the same page. Funny considering the threesome at the log cabin, and getting Jasmine pregnant, Kirk and Rasheeda weren’t even reading the same book.

Nonetheless, stepmom Rasheeda for better or worse won’t let anyone come between her and her husband. Sharing kisses, and flirting with Kirk during her workout video. Well played Kirk, well played Kirk.

We know Kirk’s mom died at the age of 68, we have no idea when Sierra’s intelligence died. Eight years of a loveless marriage, followed by a new man who is obviously cheating on. Karlie gathered the evidence a returning Amber Priddy and Joy.

Amber had text messages and a recorded conversation. Both of which Sierra played off as forgeries and circumstantial. But Joy, an artist BK is managing, was a confession she took to heart. You see Sierra does Joy’s eyebrows, so Joy sleeping with BK is doubly hurtful. Fellas, is this the new hookup? Your main chick runs a saloon, so you send your side chicks in there at a discount. Have the main make your side look good for you. It's a win-win! Genius.

Anyway, BK denies sleeping with Amber anytime recently, tells half the truth about Joy. Basically says there was no overlap between Joy and Sierra, but there was. And he didn’t come clean because Joy was just getting out of a marriage and he didn’t want to spoil what they had. Huh? What do they even have? A “Best Friendship?” They didn’t put a title on it, so what’s the big deal. Honesty aside, no one cheated.

Great value James Harden aka K. Botchey and Keely end things officially and what can only be described as a time filler scene. Afterwards, Kelly and Bleu continued their path to co-parenting that ended with Xavier reuniting with his father. Seriously seeing Bleu with his son was a feel-good moment.

KK wants to have a feel-good moment with her grandson King. The only thing stopping her is Tiarra. The same Tiarra who was ready to dine and dash on television. If she is that strapped for cash she should enlist KK grandmother duties just to save money on daycare.

KK is learning from her mistakes. She imparted wisdom to Momma Dee about how she should treat Bambi during this pregnancy. Granted they were sitting in a room with half-naked men, but that’s besides the point.

After Spice hipped Erica Mena to Estelita and Stevie’s new relationship, Mena took it upon herself to dish out some tough love to the Pomeranian Goddess. Of course, Estelita didn’t want to hear a lecture or be called stupid so she did what any reasonable Danger Zone artist would do, vow to not tell Erica about her relationship anymore.
To sum up this episode I’m disappointed but not surprised.  I’m disappointed but not surprised Rasheeda is “back” with Kirk.  I’m disappointed but not surprised Sierra hasn’t learned anything from her sham of a marriage. Everything else was par for the course, highlights being Bleu and his son, and KK learning from her mistakes with Tiarra.

Next week Tommie gets an intervention. Yay just like Teairra!
