Love & Hip: Atlanta "Popping Up"

Pop-ups are the worst. Pimples show up at the most inopportune time, pop up ads flood your favorite website, pop up shops are filled with overpriced merchandise. But all these things can be eliminated. Pimples have a ton of remedies, pop up ads can be done away with ad blockers, and you can just not go to a pop-up shop. But people popping up can be one of life's ill-fated certainties.

When Jasmine popped up at Joc’s salon grand opening, everyone had something to say to not only Jasmine but Tiarra who brought Jasmine. Kirk remained silent. Newcomer Spice was ready to fight Jasmine on behalf of Rasheeda. Really? You just met Rasheeda two seconds ago. And why is everyone, including Rasheeda more mad at Jasmine than Kirk? Sure Jasmine knew Kirk was married, but you know who else knew Kirk was married... Kirk! 

Now that he’s back in the house, folks have no problem hanging out with him and took his side. Even though he is not seeing his child with Jasmine, Even though he thinks child support is enough, and has no idea why Jasmine is popping up on him.

Hell Rasheeda was all but ready to give Kirk kudos for kicking rocks when Jasmine showed up, but unfortunately Kirk’s mom died. Rasheeda obviously felt bad, and consoled him.

Tommie’s drinking is catching up with her. She got the Teairra Mari storyline, so look forward to the staged intervention. She showed up late to her and Spice’s video shoot cup in hand and excuse in mouth. 

Before that, she was spilling beans about Sierra's new man BK having extra children. But her energy changed when BK was standing next to her. She was going off of a DM that didn’t have confirmation. Tommie I long for the days when your family was the main storyline. 

The return of Erica Dixon was a nice surprise. I don’t know if it’s just a one off or she’ll be recurring. Either way she is still with the shits, ready to pop up on Jasmine whenever Rasheeda says the word. 
Keely and Bleu finally sat down and talked co-parenting. They’re not where they need to be, but baby steps were taking. 

The highlights included a couple of mentions from past LHHATL members Ashley Nicole and Joc’s ex KD. But other than that a pretty mundane episode. Erica Mena returns next week, and BK’s infidelity will be front and center.  Let me know what you guys think in the comments below.
