'Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta' Recap: Tipsy Tommie Says Ta Ta
Things were looking up for Tommie at the start of this season. She was in the opening credits, had successfully rid her life of KK, got Karlie back by using Joc and began working on her music career. Outside of her mom, Samantha, wanting Tommie to mend her strained relationship with her sister Versace, Tommie was as happy as her pet pig.
But her demon in the bottle got the best of her. On Monday Tommie exited LHHATL disgracefully. Belligerent and angry, her attacking fellow cast member Spice was par for the course, but attacking producers and security was the last straw.
Producer Stephanie Gale addressed some of the staff, Joc, Mimi, Estelita, Sierra were among those who got to hear the ugly tale of Tommie Lee. Joc seemed to be the most concerned, asking questions and mentioning other LHHATL members who have acted erratically but still kept their jobs.
I have no idea if this is the last we’ve seen of Tommie. Unlike Teairra who also had a drinking problem, Tommie didn’t get a scripted intervention, followed by rehab. She wasn’t as big a draw as Joseline Hernandez or Erica Mena, but if LHH has taught me one thing is never say never to a comeback story.
Kirk has done his job aka got things in motion for Pressed grand opening. Rasheeda used this opportunity to invite damn near everyone to Houston for the grand opening and an after party with Just Brittany performing. Not only that she has booked a dude ranch for everyone to stay and air out their grievances. Honestly this just looks like a way for Mona to get the Love & Hip Hop: Houston she always wanted.
Just Brittany, remember is just a performer at the after party, invites Tiarra who in turns invites Jasmine. So you can see where this is going.
Karlie and Sean broke up on a double date with Spice and Tabius. Yup Tokyo’s Tabius who claimed he was innocent of infidelity wasted no time getting up with Spice. Anyway back to Karlie and Sean, Sean is tired of Karlie’s messy ways, even though he knows BK is a dog. He plays the friend card as to why he is defending BK.
Karlie kept the messiness going by telling Tokyo about Tabius and Spice. Tokyo doesn’t like being blindsided with bad news. So she wants nothing to do with Karlie going forward.
Dime gender reveal party, which featured her mom and dad, thanks to Shawne. They are having a little girl. Congrats.
That’s it. The main focus of this episode was Tommie’s exit and everyone getting ready/arriving in Houston. Speaking of Houston we get to look forward to Spice and Tokyo meeting for the first time, as well as the face to face of all face to faces Rasheeda and Jasmine.
