Love & Hip Hop: Miami Season 1 Episode 6 Recap: Scrappy Wants That Old Thang Back

Shay never seemed like Scrappy’s first choice. She was more of Momma Dee’s favorite. So it was surprising to see Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta alum Scrappy not only show up, but profess his undying love and support to Shay Johnson. You have to read the fine print the support part. If Shay is dating someone other than Scrappy he will not support her. 

We all know Shay is single and getting the taste of Mint Chocolate out of her mouth. So why was Scrappy so quick to hang out with Chinese Kitty and Nicky? He’s shooting selfies and hitting strip clubs with this overhyped mom and daughter duo. This storyline doesn’t have legs, Scrappy seems to be happily married to the Bamz. Surprised Mona didn’t scrap (pun intended) these scenes altogether.  

Having sobered up, Bobby wants Jeffery back. He asked for forgiveness and promised Jeffery team Jeffery and Bobby will be better than Jeffery and Malik. Jeffery fresh out the gym, having watched Jennifer Lopez’s Enough, forgave Bobby, promised not to forget and ended the relationship.

Malik decided to live his truth. Even though he’s kind of already doing that by being on LHHMIA, but anyway he tells Prince he’s gay. Prince is cool with it. Then Malik has Jeffery meet him in the middle of the night to tell him he came out to Prince. Malik gets emotional thinking of what this means all while Jeffery states he will be there for him.  

Veronica confronted Jojo, calling her a hypocrite and an instigator. Jojo tried to defend her actions, but it fell flat, so she played the rich card. Stating if she was to hit Veronica it would cost her money, and then went on to throw a drink in Veronica’s face.  

Gunplay has dealt with his ex Tip coming at him and his girl Keyara. If that wasn’t enough he just lost close friend and “brother” Christopher “Stro Corleone” Strother. Keyara believes this will be enough to push Gunplay back to his vices. And after sniffing some of his money she’s convince he’s doing cocaine. 

• Why did Bobby want Jeffery back if he was convinced Jeffery was cheating?
• Prince says he knew Malik was gay due to mannerisms. But he exhibits those mannerisms as well, is Prince messing with us? 
• What is Bryant Mckinnie doing on LHHMIA?  Like what’s his storyline? Show up at parties and bring women? 
• Does Gunplay not know this show is being filmed? He runs off when Chinese Nicky asks about Keyara, because he told her he was in the studio. 
• When did Scrappy realize that hairstyle wasn’t working?
