Love & Hip Hop: Miami Season 1 Episode 2 Recap: Joy and Pain
Before LHHMIA began I had no idea Trick Daddy was married, let alone married to Trina’s cousin. Joy and Trick have been separated for four years, but they way they act you’d think they just broke up yesterday. After accidentally celebrating Joy’s birthday together, Joy decided she needed closure and paid her estranged husband a visit.
Joy stated she left the marriage due to unhappiness, while Trick couldn’t understand how being married to him and his money didn’t make her happy. This ending with Trick walking off to take a shower.
Gunplay met with Miami Tip and her friend Skrawberry (that’s not her Christian name) to discuss business. Tip spent the whole time flirting and teasing Gunplay, not caring that his “situation had changed” aka he’s not single.
Gunplay relayed the details of his meeting with Tip to his girlfriend Keyara thinking he would be rewarded for his honesty. But instead Keyara was furious and explained this is why she didn’t want to move back to Miami. She then went to warn Miami Tip to stay away from her man, and Tip tried to get with Keyara.
Shay and Pleasure P seem to put the Pretty Ricky drama behind them, and Shay planned to cook a romantic dinner for P only to be stood up. P instead met with his ex Gabby who he hasn’t spoken to in four years. Gabby wants to try things again with P, who at this point may be ready to end things with Shay.
After hearing from Amara about her horrible meeting with Young Hollywood her friends Steph Lecor and Veronica Vega decided to confront the Latin Trap producer. He backtracked slightly and agreed to apologize under one condition, Veronica Vega has to agree to go on a date with him.
Miami promoters Prince and Michelle Pooch made their debut. These two are butting heads over who’s the biggest promoter in the city. But from the looks of it it looks as if these two might serve two different clientele.
