Here Are The Storylines From Love & Hip Hop: New York's Season 8 Supertrailer

Vh1 dropped the supertrailer for Love & Hip Hop: New York's eight season, filled with the ratchetly delicious storylines that fans have come to both love and loathe. Here's the storylines what we can't wait to watch unfold.

Remy.png

Dust Yourself Off. Ever since Remy Ma and Papoose debuted in season six, they have displayed Black Love goals. While season six was a high note for Remy and Pap, ending with them having their dream wedding. Season seven dealt our favorite couple a low blow when Remy lost the baby she promised Papoose. The loss led to a media run explaining the physical and mental toll, so it's surprising that Papoose is pressuring Remy Ma to have another child.

This looks to be a replay of last season's storyline, but Remy doesn't seem eager to appease Pap this go round.

Safaree.PNG.png

Life in Plastic. Safaree began on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood as Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend and quickly transformed to a fan favorite due to his reactions and horrible Jamaican accent. Now after two seasons of Hollywood, Safaree is heading back home to New York looking for love. And without the help of his mother, he seems to have found love in the form of Bad Girls Club alum Tabatha Robinson aka Dream Doll.  Dream Doll has admitted to getting work done, so Safaree clearly has a type. It's not all love for Safaree though, his mother doesn't share his affinity for plastic as he does, plus on a serious note Safaree will deal with the murder of his uncle this season.

Rich.png

Rich Dollaz love for alcohol is only surpassed by his love of women. Erica Mena, Diamond Strawberry, Jhonnie Blaze, Moniece, Jade, Mariah Lynn, just to name a few. And this season is no different. Rich hooks up with newcomer Dominican-born artist Anais. But this time may be different since Anais has a husband and child on the side.

While Rich loves to play the tough guy, he may want to chill, since he's been diagnosed with type to diabetes. And with the Creep Squad not a full capacity Rich might have to face to enemies alone.

Good Lotion. LHHNY vet Yandy's allure began to fade last season. With her husband Mendeesee in jail, Yandy was forced to keep the family together by dealing with Mendecees' other baby mamas Erika and Samantha. Yandy was caught in lies and childish behavior that had #TeamYandy shaking their collective heads. With all that behind her, Yandy plans to focus on her family, but tight fitting dresses and oiling down muscular men have Mendecees and his mother Judy, questioning about Yandy's faithfulness.

After last season's antics, one would think Yandy would tread lightly filming anything that would put her in a bad light. It's one thing to have Erika and Samantha question her sincerity but not her longtime friend Kimbella isn't here for Yandy's fakeness

Mo.png

Mo problems. Remaking Jennifer Hudson's American Family Insurance commercial, was an odd choice to introduce R&B singer Lil Mo. Nonetheless singing in the park was the least of her worries, her son who's under 10 is Googling his mom and dad, boxer Al Stone. Of course he sees stories about his father cheating, and Mo in return wants him to take a lie detector test to prove his love.

Go Raul! Fans will recognize image consultant Jonathan Fernandez from LHHATL alum K. Michelle's K. Michelle My Life. He's in a relationship with R&B singer Trent Crews, who's not giving Jonathan everything he needs. So Jonathan does what any rational gay person on reality TV does, he catfishes his significant other through Grindr (NSFW).

B vs Bitch. Bianca seems to have a beef first music second attitude. In her debut season she beefed with BBOD, the following season she set her eyes on DJ Drewski whose girlfriend Sky didn't appreciate. And when Mariahlynn gave Sky a heads up on Bianca's game, she too felt Bianca's wrath. Luckily Bianca and Mariah made up. But season eight Bianca's going head to head with another B, Queens rapper Brittney Taylor. Shoes, shade, and more will be thrown between these two.

Mari B. Mariahlynn debuted the same season as Cardi B. While Mariah claimed she doesn't do mixtapes, Cardi did two mixtapes and landed a number one song in the country. Meanwhile Mariahlynn is back for a third season involved with a man, singer/songwriter James R, who happens to be  seeing another woman, former video vixen turned DJ Sophia Body. It looks like James R. will playing the role of Cisco this season.

While the supertrailer was packed, it still left some questions. What's Snoop's role this season, where was JuJu, and is LHHNY finally done with Peter, Tara, and Amina? Find out Monday Oct. 30. And make sure to subscribe to The RUNDWN for a complete recap of the season premiere.
