Here Are The Storylines From Love & Hip Hop: Miami's Supertrailer

Welcome to Miami... after four years, vh1 and Love & Hip Hop have decided to expand their ratchet empire to the 305. Land of beaches, beautiful women, and thanks to the new supertrailer, plenty of ratchetness. Starting Jan. 1 here are the storylines everyone will be tuned into

Ready to blow up. Trick and Trina are working on a new album TNT, and according to Trina, that’s the just of her storyline. But Trick, on the other hand, looks to be dealing with marital issues. His wife Jordan, Trina’s cousin, is no longer happy in the relationship and she wants out.

Black and Proud. Amara La Negra is an Afro-Latina singer from the Dominican Republic. Amara cut her teeth on the festival circuit, performing throughout the US and in Latin America. She’s ready to crossover and links with a producer and fellow castmate Young Hollywood. He isn’t a fan of Amara’s afro and this is where the conflict begins. Amara is proud of her heritage and is tired of people telling her she’s too Black.

Wicked to the core. Veronica Vega is another Latin performer of Cuban and Venezuelan descent. She found success with her single Wicked featuring Pitbull. Signed to producer Polo Da Don’s Zone 4, Veronica and Amara start off as friends, but when Veronica begins to date/see Young Hollywood against Amara’s wishes these to fall out.

Demons & Damsels. Gunplay is the second artist (Omarion) from Maybach Music Group to star on a Love & Hip Hop franchise. Fans were treated a few scenes from Gunplay on the last season of LHHATL. Now back in his home Miami, Gunplay makes a vow to his woman to keep his dick in his Dickies. But working with Miami Tip (formerly known as Tip Drill) might make that promise difficult to keep.  On top of that Gunplay looks to be boxing his demons aka battling addiction and it comes to a head in an intense confrontation between him and his girlfriend Keyara.

The Prince vs The Queen. Christopher "Prince" Michael Harty claims he’s the king of the nightlife in Miami, but doesn’t seem to be getting the respect he deserves. There’s seems to be one person standing in his way to the top and that’s DJ Michelle Pooch. Pooch is  ½ of PXS Music, and has been all over Miami’s party scene. And from the looks of it isn’t worried about Prince taking her spot.

Daddy's Girl. Jojo Zarur is an entrepreneur and celebrity stylist who looks to have it all. But her parents (who both appear this season) nasty divorce is taking a toll on Jojo’s psyche. Her mother wants her to testify against her father in hopes that her mom is left broke. The decision is a difficult one since her father, Antonio Zarur, has chosen her to be his heiress to his wealthy empire.

Pleasure P is ready to give the fans what they want, and according to P, they want Pretty Ricky for one last album and one last tour. The only thing that may stop them is Shay Johnson, formerly of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta and Flavor of Love Season 2. Shay’s in Miami looking for love and found it in Pleasure who she claims is Pretty Ricky. This Yoko Ono scenario will have twists and turns as Pleasure P’s complicated situation involves a love square between two women and his band.

Bobby Lytes is an aspiring artist who happens to be Trina’s cousin. Dealing with music-industry, his family Bobby finds solace in his boyfriend Jeffrey. But that solace is short-lived Bobby finds out Jeffery is still seeing his ex.

This looks to be an explosive debut season. Make sure to tune in January 1 9/8c for all the drama and subsrcribe to our podcast The RUNDWN for a weekly breakdown all things Love & Hip Hop.
