How To Make: "Let It Snow" Mason Jar Candles

"Let It Snow" Mason Jars

Its Christmas time and If your anything like me, you want to spice up your house a little with Christmas decoration. Well I did a cute, quick and easy project using Mason Jars. I made candles out of the Mason Jars.  They came out so cute If I may say so myself.

Materials

  • Mason Jars (3)
  • Epsom Salt
  • Letter Stickers and decorative stickers if you want to spice it up a bit
  • Ribbon
  • Tea Light Candles
  • Hot Glue Gun

I started out with three plain Mason Jars.  I decorated the jars first so that way I wouldn't spill any of the Epsom salt. On each Jar I placed one word, the phrase reading "Let It Snow." I also wanted to spice of the jar so I placed blue snow flakes on the jar as well. I placed one word on each jar so you could still see the Snow (Epsom Salt) and candle.

I placed the stickers on each Jar. I then took some ribbon and glued it around the top of the jar and tied it off in a bow. It gives the jars another cute look, without making the jars look so crowded.

When you are done decorating the jar, fill the jar with the Epsom Salt. This gives the jars a snow effect. Fill the jars half way up so the words "Let it Snow" stands out. Then place a Tea Light Candle on top of the Epsom salt.  And now you're done.

I placed the jars on top of my Candle holder that I have sitting on my fire place. And I think it looks great.  I hope this has given you a Christmas décor idea for your home. Have fun making these cute candles.

And as always send me the pictures of your crafts from this tutorial. I would love to see your ideas.
