How To: Make Glitter Ornaments

Glitter Christmas Ornaments
Christmas is tomorrow and I am in the crafting mood. I want to make my house scream Christmas. I wanted my Christmas colors this year to be Blue, sliver and white. I know you’re surprised my colors aren’t black and pink. Me too, but we have way to many boys in the house I don’t think they will be appreciate all of the pink so I played it safe with blue sliver and white. Well I wanted to spice up the tree and thought it would be fun and creative to decorate Christmas ornaments. So here Is what you will need to make some of your own.
Materials You Will Need:
- Christmas Ornaments- Creative Ornaments
- Glitter- Color of your Choice
- Pledge Floor Cleaner- Squirt or spray bottle
- Funnel
Just a warning: THIS PROJECT GETS EXTREMELY MESSY. GLITTER WILL BE EVERYWHERE. So with that being said let’s get started.
I took the ornament and sprayed the inside with Pledge. Pledge will help the glitter stick to the inside of the ornament. Make sure you get rid of the extra Pledge in the ornament. I just dumped my excess Pledge out. I then took a funnel stuck the tip of the funnel into the tip of the ornament and I poured in a decent size of glitter.
Place the top of the ornament back on the ornament and shake the ornament. I would advise to do this over a garbage can. Then take the top back off the ornament pour the extra glitter back into your glitter bottle place the ornaments cap back on and you are done.
