Love & Hip Hop: New York Season 8 Episode 2 Recap: Judge Judy

Love & Hip Hop: New York Season 8 Episode 2 Recap: Judge Judy

Judy's Prerogative

God bless "Mama Mendeecees" aka Judy, who has sat and grown tired of watching other intruding moms steal the spotlight from their sons. Who could forget Omarion's mom Leslie? Probably most people, but still what about A1’s mom Pam's epic battles with Lyrica G were noteworthy. The most famous mom from the franchise, Mama Dee has ended plenty of her son’s Scrappy relationships, dropped a few songs and teeth, and consistently walks around with props just in case she runs into one of her many foes.

But with just two episodes in, Judy is ready to bring the crown back to NY and make Mama Jones proud. Here's a rundown of what she has done.

  • Instagram stalk Yandy only to find out she's not dressed to your liking
  • Got Mendeecees to take a break from Yandy
  • Showed up at Yandy's event with afghan for Yandy to cover up with

Well done Judy, well done.

Blue Hair Don't Care

Blue Hair Don't Care

Feels like Anais storyline Cardi B was given the past seasons. Flirt with manager/producer (DJ Self, Swift, Navarro) causing their significant other (Yorma, Asia, Ashley) to become frustrated and physically confront you. Unlike Cardi, Anais doesn't seem like the fighting type. Navarro's girlfriend Ashley was more the aggressor.

The twist is Anais is trying her hardest to cheat on her spouse "Father Husband" Ruben. Luckily for her Rich is going to be more than happy to oblige.

First Mally Mall, Then Cisco, and Now James R

First Mally Mall, Then Cisco, and Now James R

Mariah Lynn has done the unthinkable. No not make another song as good as Once Upon A Time. She went and replaced Cisco with Cisco! Her new beau, James R is just Cisco with muscles and waves. The mannerisms, the voice even him trying to come between Mariahlynn’s label head DJ Self is all Cisco-esque. Speaking in the third person is a little different and wanting your girl to call you by your first name and last initial is just strange.

Questions

Did Mendecees really put his “wife” on a timeout via email from jail?

Who else is over Bianca and Bri already?

Mariahlynn’s “next hit” "Too Much Money in the Bank" makes it sound like that’s a bad thing.

Is Self still managing Major Galore?

Will Nicki Minaj respond to being called a thot? First Safaree’s mom and now DJ Self is throwing jabs.
