Wrestlemania XXX Predictions
WWE Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way Match The Usos vs Rybaxel vs Los Matadores vs The Real Americans
Since The Usos won the WWE Tag Team Championship no other team has risen to become a clear cut number one contender. Thus a fatal 4-way is on the docket for Wrestlemania XXX's pre-show. This is a chance for Los Matadores to finally win over the crowd, I expect high flying antics from them. I also expect The Real Americans to go their separate ways after this match, Cesaro has outgrown Swagger and Zeb and is ready to be a main event Superstar. When the dust settles The Usos keep the belt.
Prediction: The Usos
Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational
AJ Lee's record breaking title reign has been lack luster, not due to her but due to the fact that the Divas division is down right pathetic. Instead of getting a one on one match we get basically the whole Divas division and 99% of the Divas television show cast. These type of matches are hard to predict, the one thing I'll say for sure is AJ Lee will lose her belt. I hope Tamina is the one who wins the title therefore we get an interesting storyline afterwards.
I would had rather seen The Shield vs The Wyatt Family Pt. 2. Corporate Kane and The New Age Outlaws do not pose a threat to The Shield in any kind of way. The only way Kane, Road Dawg, and Billy Gunn get the W is if Dean Ambrose turns on The Shield, which I do not think will happen.
Prediction: The Shield
The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
The Immortal Hulk Hogan returned home to the WWE to announce he was hosting Wrestlemania XXX and as a bonus he introduced The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. A 30 man over the top rope battle royal in laymen terms Royal Rumble Jr. with the winner getting a trophy. Just like the Divas Invitational, this match is hard to predict maybe even harder because I have no idea what will become of the winner. Will they get a push, will this battle royal return next year?
Random Prediction: The Miz to keep his undefeated streak alive
John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt
On paper I like this match, I just wish it had more build up. One match can not destroy a legacy, which is how this encounter between Bray and Cena is being played up. I don’t hate Cena like some people over the age of 13 and believe he can put on a good match especially on the biggest stage of them all. I am a fan of Bray and on the mic and in the ring and he needs this victory to established himself as a dominant force in the WWE. Even better if he can win cleanly.
Prediction: Bray Wyatt
The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar
The Undertaker’s streak at Wrestlemania is iconic. Each year the WWE is put into a position where they have to sell us on the idea that his opponent is a threat to The Undertaker’s streak. Last year (unfortunately, due to The Undertaker’s former manager Paul Bearer’s death) the build up was intense, and the match between The Undertaker and CM Punk was amazing. In a series of near falls I forgot about the streak and believed CM Punk was going to pull off the impossible. The same thing has to happen this Sunday. Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker are going to put on a brawl. Brock has the ability to make The Undertaker look weak, which he will have to use in order for us to suspend our disbelief and think that the Beast can end the streak.
Prediction: The Undertaker
Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H (Winner enters main event)
This feud started last year at Summer Slam, when Triple H pedigreed Daniel Bryan, who just won the WWE Championship, in order for Randy Orton to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase and taking the title from Bryan. Since then The Authority has done their best to bury Daniel Bryan all the while Bryan’s “Yes Movement” has grown into a WWE Universe phenomenon. This match has the potential to be the best on the card. The build up has been great, though I would had rather have Triple H going with the upperhand instead of Bryan who got the jump on Triple H on the go home show of Raw on Monday. That being said, I don’t see how Daniel Bryan does not come out on top in this match.
Prediction: Daniel Bryan
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match
What started as an unwelcomed main event between Randy Orton and Batisita has morphed into one of the most anticipated main events in awhile. Bryan is no stranger to double duty and I expect him to out perform the Randy Orton and Batista who spent the first part of the night resting. This like Bryan’s match earlier has to end with Bryan winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Bryan should pin Orton, finally putting an end to that feud but allowing for Batista to have a legitimate beef, that can only be settled at Extreme Rules.
Prediction: Daniel Bryan
