El Torito vs. Hornswoggle (Pre-Show: "WeeLC" Match)

This is a throwaway even on a pre-show, back in the day I would had been upset if this match would had shown up on Sunday Night Heat. The fact that, The Rhodes, Sheamus and even the WWE Tag Champions are absent from the main card is baffling. Anyway this so called feud should end tonight with El Torito going over.

Prediction: El Torito

Triple Threat Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Cesaro vs. Jack Swagger

This should really be a Cesaro vs Jack Swagger in some kind of stipulation match, but since Swagger cost Cesaro a victory over RVD in the intercontinental championship tournament, and Cesaro and Swagger cost RVD later on in the tourney vs Bad News Barrett, we are giving a triple threat match. I’m calling this Match of the Night, all three of these guys are capable of going above and beyond, with RVD never aging and Cesaro being pushed to the high heavens, even if Swagger packs it in, this match can still get 4 stars. Cesaro will get the victory.

Prediction: Cesaro

2 on 1 Handicap Match: R-Truth and Xavier Woods vs. Alexander Rusev (with Lana)

Alexander Rusev has beaten both R-Truth and Xavier in squash matches on separate occasions. R-Truth and Xavier got the better of him after the bell on the last episode of Smackdown and therefore we get a handicapped match at Extreme Rules. Another match that seems to be easy to predict, Alexander Rusev is being billed as a “monster,” and R-Truth and Xavier Woods will be his next victims again.

Prediction: Alexander Rusev

Divas Championship Match: Paige vs. Tamina Snuka

I hoped Tamina Snuka to be the one to end former divas champ AJ Lee, but alas Paige made her debut the night after Wrestlemania and ended the “Best Diva in The World’s” monumental reign. With that being said it wouldn’t make any sense (I know this is WWE where the lack sense is about as common as a cold) for to Paige drop the belt in her PPV debut and first title defense.

Prediction: Paige

Intercontinental Championship Match: Big E vs. Bad News Barrett

After the Nexus gimmick, Wade Barrett became a bare knuckle brawler before becoming a part-time barber for The Authority. Wade was taken off television and repackaged into a character who is the bearer of bad news. This has worked surprisingly well and earned him a shot at the IC title against Big E, who in turn is in desperate need of a rivalry. I think this will be it and Big E will go over first in a feud that will continue throughout the summer.

Prediction: Big E

Steel Cage Match: John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt

I was disappointed that Bray didn’t get the W in his Wrestlemania debut, but this storyline has been intriguing to say the least. The steel cage has upped the ante (hell in the cell would have been better) and hopefully the cage will grant us a match without any interference. This is another feud I can see ending at Summer Slam and in order for that to happen Bray has to get the W.

Prediction: Bray Wyatt

The Shield vs. Evolution

The Shield has been more focused since their near break up two months ago, meanwhile the reformation of Evolution will be their biggest challenge in their WWE career. I don't put any weight on The Nature Boy Ric Flair's endorsement of The Shield on Monday. I see Flair being the reason Evolution will score the first victory in this feud that will ultimately end with Roman Reigns vs Triple H at Summer Slam.

Prediction: Evolution

Extreme Rules Match for the WWE World Title: Daniel Bryan vs. Kane

When you factor in his personal life Daniel Bryan has had one of the toughest first month as WWE champion. He got married, went on a honeymoon and after coming back his father passes away. He’s been off television,

Him and Kane’s history dates back to 2012 when AJ Lee was doing her crazy schtick and going from CM Punk (pauses for CM Punk chant to die down) Kane and himself. They went on to form one of the best odd couple tag teams in recent memory to now facing each other for the WWE World Title. Kane has gone from comedy, to corporate, to conflagration, dawning the mask that reeks of fire and brimstone.

Its a right of passage so to speak to go through Kane when your the champion, this time that match has a little more meaning. Either way Bryan will be successful in his first title defense.

Prediction: Daniel Bryan
