Love & Hip Hop: New York Season 8 Reunion Pt. 2 “Hot Dick Safaree” Recap

Part 2 of Love & Hip Hop: New York season 8 reunion began with a Snoop pump faking. She acted as if she was going to rush the stage and attack James R. It was the perfect metaphor for not only this episode but the season as a whole. 

Anais once again officially started things. Ashley and her sister Ayisha were fed up with Anais' antics. Any by antics, Anais is sending her snatch to Navarro and maybe Ayisha since Anais wants to "fuck the shit out of her." Anais' manager and Ashley's boyfriend Navarro solution, just have Anais send the pictures to his wife.

Anais also had to answer for her behavior in St. Maarten. She admitted to being jealous of Yandy and was just trying to keep her friend Jonathan from going astray. While Anais talked tough throughout the reunion she seemingly backed off when JuJu came at her about confronting Yandy at the school.

Speaking of JuJu, she's still single and is willing to mingle with any man who comes correct. She was also quick to say her and Safaree have things in common, not a connection. When it came to her relationship with Cam'ron, she wasn't forthcoming about the breakup because she's a private person. 

Before Remy began her anti-Safaree campaign, JuJu was hesitant about dating Safaree. While she may have known about his failed relationship with DreamDoll, she like the rest of us didn't know about Mariah and the hot tub. Safaree was caught off guard and really didn't have a good answer to why he was making out with the Gwinin girl.

The fact that so many people are beefing without knowing the origin is scary. Case in point Bri and Kiyanne. These two did everything, but fight all while Jaquae was stuck in the middle. Well, more so Team Kiyanne since he didn't have much of a choice.  

Bianca and Kiyanne weren't Bri's only problem. She had a legitimate beef with Safaree for being left the Paradise Remix. Safaree and Jaquae stated Bri's verse wasn't turned in on time. That explains why she wasn't on the final version, but it didn't explain why Safaree didn't give Bri a heads up before the premiere. Non-confrontational Safaree strikes again. 

The reunion wrapped with Jonathan apologizing for being so loud, Jaquae saying Kiyanne was his favorite moment, Remy's album coming soon, Anais is going to be Anais and Rich spoke on his diabetes because it was important. 

Remy called him out to Ashley, stating if Navarro doesn't see anything wrong with Anais, then your problem is with Navarro and not Anais. 

Like most LHH reunions nothing was resolved. Instead we are left with more questions, than answers. I'm glad LHHNY is over, I need a break and Atlanta once again, due to the trailer,looks amazing.
