Earlier this year I purchased the Pioneer DDJ-SB and officially became a bedroom DJ. Learning beat matching up has been fun and frustrating, and while I'm still learning I decided to share my latest experiment.

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's Nuthin But A 'G' Thang ushered an era of G funk more than 20 years ago and we still can hear its influence in some of today's hottest MCs. And while Da Brat (Chicago) and producer JD (Atlanta) didn't hail from Compton or Long Beach, California, Da Brat's debut album Funkdafied shared similar influences. 

Jon is  a non-single father of none, who spends most of his time watching Netflix creating/editing podcasts and maintaining a decent nice guy to a**hole ratio.
