Review | The Game "How to Lose All Your Phat in One Day"

Beef or Booty?

The way Tasha is keeping this triangle going would make  Phil Jackson would be happy. While attending a party for Malik's newest investment idea, she becomes jealous of seeing Rick Fox flirting with younger women. When she approaches about the women, Pookie shows up. Pookie who after eight episodes figures that the reason Tasha has been acting more inappropriate and ghetto is because Rick Fox is there. I hope Pookie guards bodies better than he reads minds. Pookie being the savvy business man that he is talks to Rick Fox, and somehow got Rick to hire him as his body guard while in San Diego.

Malik has had bad idea after bad idea this season, and his latest one is "Phatty's," think "Hooters" but instead of the chest being the focus, the booty is the center of attention. Why does every idea Malik have have to do with the women's body? For some reason this idea gathers enough investors to go ahead and break ground, but Malik shuts the whole idea down when Patreece Sheibani a big wig in the investor game, turns Malik down stating he's not ready for the next level.

Kierra and "Blue" have been playing the worst game of "will they or won't they?" "Blue" didn't want to go to Malik's party because of their current on the field relationship. After some convincing from Kierra the two show up at the party to patch Malik's and "Blue's" status. While looking for Malik, "Blue" gets the bright idea to have him and Kierra take a shot every time someone assumes their a couple. By the end of the night the two are drunk or at least poorly acting drunk, Kierra inadvertently admits to being in love with "Blue" and the intoxicated couple kiss.

The highlight of this episode was the "Three's Company" moment of Tasha planting a wire on Chardonnay to speak to Rick Fox. Jason notices it and thinks Rick and Chardonnay might be having a relationship. But quickly loses that thought when he realized he didn't get the dozen or so extra Phatty burgers that he ordered. I still don't know how this Tasha, "Pookie," and Rick Fox triangle will play out, and its dragging on a little too long that I might not even care. I'm still holding out hope that this is the year Malik gets it together and Kierra and "Blue" officially become a couple.
