We learn what story “Jasfly” has been chasing. She has landed an exclusive interview with Kia Jeffries, a singer who gained popularity in the 90’s for appearing on Akinyele’s “Put It in Your Mouth” and after years of obscurity resurfaced in the headlines for fatally shooting her husband. Kim O suggest this interview be done on camera and wants the story for The Source. The only problem is Kim can’t pay “Jasfly,” for said story. “Jasfly” goes forward with the story anyway because she feels this can be big and is thinking long term when it comes to her journalistic career.  Even though we see a snippet of the interview it was powerful. And vh1 has uploaded an extended cut of the interview.

This episode was entertaining and emotional. The problem which may not be a problem at all is that the entertainment and drama came from people who aren't cast regulars. Star and Steph Lova are taking full advantage of another shot of relevancy. Whereas Sharon's love life is blah, and "Ms. Drama" becomes "Ms. Dull" when she doesn't have anyone to call "ratchet."
